Phenolic Resin 2402 is an oil-soluble thermoreactive alkyl phenolic resin. It appears as light yellow to amber flakes or blocks. It dissolves readily in aromatic solvents, esters, ketones and drying oils, while insoluble in water.

Product Description
2402 phenolic resin has good oil solubility, heat resistance, and aging resistance.
It is soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, toluene, cyclohexane, ethyl acetate, and solvent gasoline, as well as vegetable oils. It is insoluble in ethanol and water.
